Dance Composition classes

Dance Composition classes are designed as an introductory coarse to choreography for upper level students (12-16). This course will breakdown core elements of choreography; counting, phrasing, symmetry and vision; which will assist in the students own creation of work.  Approved composition pieces will be presented during the culminating presentation.

Dance, Vocal and Theater

Students will take part in multiple dance classes that focuses on body conditioning, vocabulary of that specific technique to gain a deeper understanding of their body and dance language.  (i.e. Ballet, West African, Modern/Jazz, and Hip-Hop) Upper level students will focus more on the application of technique towards choreography.  Students will also take part in a Vocal and Theater class.  These added art classes will focus on vocal strengthening as well as voice and diction.  All students will be lead to prepare a Dance,Vocal and Theater piece presentation for the culminating performance.
