In the Holy Quran this word is expressed as the removing of dross from gold by placing it in fire.  If within the bosom of Hell fire is where we are sent because of our deeds here on earth then we too can be purified of all dross (sins).  Hell then ceases to be an eternal resting place but ultimately is an extension of our heaven and the two work parallel of each other as ways to evolve us.  Judgment then essentially lies in our own hands because your next phase is dependant upon what you choose for yourself

This piece explores fear in its most internal state.  It focuses on our individual struggles with warped perceptions of reality which usually prevent us from learning valuable life lessons.  Ideally, personal and spiritual growth should be inevitable, but our stagnant development can become a reality due to our own fears of success.  Using the images of struggle, escape, and search of ones "Self", fragmented movement and distorted shapes are created as a collage of emotions through dance.

Unjust Political policies, creative stagnation and other themes throughout society, make for the perfect soup for new movements to burst forth and challenge the status quo.  The rhythm of life is then shaken up, altered and caused to move into another direction.  These movements are born from the womb of creativity and find expression through our bodies and voices. The source of it all calls us back and we again find ourselves reconnected to a force which cannot be stopped no matter what attempts there are to do so.
